While out working at my regular job photographing houses, I find this old Smith Corona Typewriter in the backyard. I would love to photograph this under better conditions, but considering the situation, I am pleased with how this came out. I was there working and didn't want to overstay my welcome at this house.
However, I can't help but think what it would be like to photograph this under good lighting conditions, camera on a tripod etc. I guess the challenge of a good photographer is to capture the shot and be comfortable enough with your camera to be able to get it. There also has to be the ability to see things in a compelling way. It is easy to sit back and look at this and think how I would do it different next time.
